'Breaking Clays' has fast become one of the main shooting events of the Norfolk calendar and one not to be missed!
A sell out event each year and we very much hope to do the same in 2020 and recommend getting in touch if you are interested in taking a team, or supporting a part of the day.
Hosted by the Cabbel-Manners family, this year's shoot is set on the magnificent Cromer Hall Estate on the beautiful north Norfolk coast.
Guests will be treated to a full clay pigeon shoot combining a fantastic sporting layout with targets to suit everyone:
7 x 80 bird sporting flush
The Dipples Team Challenge Flush (100 bird sporting team flush), sponsored by Dipples Jewellers of Norwich and Dereham.
Shooting is in teams of four and the entry price included all cartridges, hot bacon rolls on arrival, all day refreshments. Guests then enjoyed a sparkling reception, followed by a fantastic luncheon kindly supported by Walsingham Farm Shop with wine (pay bar post-shoot), with musical entertainment. Guests are permitted to upgrade their day's shoot package to a full table in the afternoon to invite guests or colleagues.
Of course, this clay shooting charity day would not be complete without a VERY special fundraising opportunity - a chance for you to win a fantastic high value prize. More details to follow soon!!
This will be the seventh year of this annual charity clay shoot, Breaking Clays, supporting Break Charity. The money we raise goes to supporting some of the most vulnerable young people in our community. Break is committed to providing a brighter future for the children who need us, for as long as they need us. We provide a stable and comfortable home environment for young people in our Children’s Homes, support families in crisis with our Break Family Centre, and organise breaks for children with disabilities – a small selection of the fantastic services we offer. Whatever a child’s start in life is, we believe that with the right care there is no limit to what they can achieve.
We are delighted to say that in the years to date we have raised £150,000 to really make a step change difference to vulnerable young people.
We are delighted to continue to be supported by our main sponsors:
* Adrian Flux Insurance Services, one of the most successful and highly respected insurance specialists in the UK, as well as a host of other East Anglian businesses.
The shoot itself is run by Mid-Norfolk Shooting Ground/Churchills of Dereham, long established and extremely high experienced team. We are delighted to have Steve and his team on board, supported by a group of volunteers from across the region from Break.
Our thanks to Longwater Construction Supplies for their continued support in putting this event together and helping it come to fruition.
Many other companies and individuals have indicated they will be taking part again this coming year and there are many ways for you to get involved.
There will be limit on teams, but you can reserve your team by contacting me direct and we can invoice you accordingly.
